Ukraine is preparing to receive new military aid from the European Union, amounting to around \u20ac3 billion. The funds are expected to be allocated as early as next week. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced these plans after speaking on October 11 with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.<\/p>\n
Ursula von der Leyen explained the purpose of the new funding: it will enable Ukraine to purchase drones and missiles.<\/p>\n
During the conversation, Volodymyr Zelensky also thanked the EU for its previous tranche of \u20ac1.24 billion.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese funds will strengthen us,\u201d Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
