October 11, 2012<\/strong>: City councilors once again postponed creating a park in Korabelnyi<\/h2>\n

At a session of the Mykolaiv<\/strong> City Council, the issue of creating a park on a vacant lot near Torhova Street was once again postponed<\/a>. Councilor Oleh Mudrak<\/strong> insisted on creating a green space, while councilor Valentyn Lebedenko<\/strong> claimed that some residents would prefer a sports ground there. Due to the disagreement, the issue was deferred to the next session.<\/p>\n

October 11, 2014<\/strong>: Keys to apartments handed to those affected by the explosion in Namyv<\/h2>\n

During a visit to Mykolaiv<\/strong>, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk<\/strong> handed over<\/a> keys to new apartments to 5 families<\/strong> who had lost their homes in a gas explosion at 40 Lazurna Street<\/strong>. October 11, 2021<\/strong>: High-profile scandal over the closure of the STEM tennis club<\/h2>\n

The Korabelov.info editorial team reported<\/a> on the conflict that led to the closure of the STEM table tennis club at the former Palace of Culture of Metallurgists in Korabelnyi District<\/strong>. Another 3 drones<\/strong> were destroyed over neighboring Odesa Oblast. This happened the day after Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine.<\/p>\n

October 11, 2024<\/strong>: Trolleybus crashes into a pole, injuring 15 passengers<\/h2>\n

At around 07:15<\/strong>, a trolleybus crashed<\/a> into an electric utility pole on Tsentralnyi Avenue in Mykolaiv<\/strong>. According to updated police data, 15 passengers<\/strong> were injured, including 3 children aged 12 to 14<\/strong>. Initial reports mentioned only 6 injured people<\/strong>. Later, a 35-year-old driver<\/strong> was notified that he was suspected of violating road traffic safety rules.<\/p>\n

The Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate confirmed<\/a> its intention to grant autocephaly to the Orthodox Church in Ukraine and revoked the legal force of the synodal letter of 1686<\/strong>, which had granted the Moscow Patriarch the right to ordain the Metropolitan of Kyiv under certain conditions.
