The <strong>Odesa Regional Prosecutor\u2019s Office<\/strong> announced the referral. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/od.gp.gov.ua\/ua\/news.html?_c=view&amp;_m=publications&amp;_t=rec&amp;id=432491\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">od.gp.gov.ua<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to investigators, in <strong>2025<\/strong> the man offered an acquaintance of conscription age help leaving <strong>Ukraine<\/strong>. The acquaintance had experience working at sea, and the proposed scheme was priced at <strong>US$6,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In exchange for the money, the accused promised to arrange documents allowing the acquaintance to cross the border as a crew member of a foreign vessel. According to investigators, the arrangement involved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>falsifying training records for a prospective crew member;<\/li>\n<li>adding the acquaintance to the crew list of a foreign vessel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some of the forged documents were sent to the acquaintance by mail.
