The prosecutor\u2019s office has already submitted the indictment to court. The attack took place on <strong>August 12<\/strong> in a village in the <strong>Pervomaisk community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to investigators, late in the evening the stepson came home intoxicated and argued with his family. During the altercation, he <a href=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/en\/2026\/08\/605492\/in-the-mykolaiv-region-a-man-stabbed-his-stepfather-in-the-chest-during-an-argument\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stabbed his <strong>55-year-old<\/strong> stepfather in the chest<\/a>. Police seized a knife and other physical evidence at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators then detained the man in accordance with criminal procedure and notified him that he was suspected of intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm under <strong>Part 1 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong>. The court ordered that the suspect be held in custody without the possibility of bail.<\/p>\n<p>After gathering evidence and completing the investigation, investigators sent the indictment to the prosecutor\u2019s office, which then submitted it to court for consideration on the merits. The man faces up to <strong>8 years<\/strong> in prison for inflicting grievous bodily harm.
