The funding is being increased amid a shortfall in the state budget.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>September<\/strong>, due to a lack of budget funds, the <strong>Cabinet of Ministers<\/strong> suspended capital expenditures. The restrictions even affected payments to contractors building protective structures for energy facilities. However, in <strong>October<\/strong>, the state enterprise <strong>\u201cMultimedia Platform of Ukraine\u2019s Foreign Broadcasting\u201d<\/strong> continued transferring funds to producers of content for the telethon.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, on <strong>October 6<\/strong>, the enterprise signed <strong>three agreements<\/strong> with TV channels worth a total of <strong>UAH 75.02 million<\/strong>. Another <strong>contract<\/strong> worth <strong>UAH 25 million<\/strong> is expected to be signed soon. Once it is concluded, the total cost of producing content for the telethon this year is expected to rise to nearly <strong>UAH 713 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration involves the following TV channels:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u201cWe Are Ukraine\u201d<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cSLM News\u201d<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201c1+1\u201d<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cInter\u201d<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In total, from <strong>March 2022<\/strong> to <strong>October 2026<\/strong>, around <strong>UAH 3.45 billion<\/strong> was allocated to producing content for the <strong>United News<\/strong> telethon and the <strong>Freedom<\/strong> marathon.<\/p>\n<p><!--
