The <strong>Ministry of Defence of Ukraine<\/strong> compares their total number to the personnel strength of <strong>2\u20133 brigades<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Many of those who returned resumed combat roles. The ministry stressed that these service members already have the experience and skills needed to carry out combat missions.<\/p>\n<p>The military had their pay and other benefits reinstated. They resumed their official duties in their units.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\">\n<p>\u201cEveryone who has returned to the ranks of the defenders is undoubtedly strengthening the military. That is why we consider the result positive,\u201d the <strong>Ministry of Defence<\/strong> said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The ministry thanked the military units that took part in the program: they reviewed service members\u2019 requests and approved their reports. Special recognition was given to the units that accepted those who had decided to return to service.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <strong>Ministry of Defence<\/strong>, the following units accepted the most service members after they went AWOL:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>20th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems \u201cK-2\u201d<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>53rd Prince Volodymyr Monomakh Separate Mechanized Brigade<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>3rd Separate Assault Brigade<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>429th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems \u201cAchilles\u201d<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ministry also recognized the brigades of the <strong>National Guard of Ukraine<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u201cKhartia\u201d<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cAzov\u201d<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\">\n<p>\u201cWe thank everyone who found the courage to return.
