The current rate for households is <strong>4.32 hryvnias<\/strong> per <strong>1 kWh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The decision also covers households that use electric heating. The tariffs were maintained in view of the country\u2019s current socioeconomic situation.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\">\n<p>\u201cGoing forward, the <strong>Government<\/strong> will work to improve the tariff-setting system and introduce a fairer system of targeted support for citizens who truly need it,\u201d Prime Minister <strong>Serhii Koretskyi<\/strong> wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Earlier, the prime minister said that <strong>Russia<\/strong> had shifted to launching mass attacks on energy infrastructure. He noted that Russian forces were targeting facilities in <strong>Kyiv<\/strong>, <strong>Kyiv Oblast<\/strong> and other regions.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\">\n<p>\u201cSince the summer, there has virtually not been a single day when the enemy has not attacked energy infrastructure. But this was the first attack on such a massive and combined scale since the end of last year\u2019s heating season,\u201d <strong>Serhii Koretskyi<\/strong> stressed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The head of government also urged local authorities to check whether backup power systems at critical facilities in their communities were ready.<\/p>\n<p>It is currently impossible to predict the scale and duration of power outages this winter. <strong>JSC Mykolaivoblenergo<\/strong> explains that they will depend on conditions in the power system and the level of consumption. The company says it will do everything possible to ensure the stable operation of the energy sector.<\/p>\n<p>To keep the city\u2019s infrastructure running reliably during this heating season, <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong> is to receive <strong>24 power transformers<\/strong> transferred from state to municipal ownership.
