During the month, <strong>19<\/strong> new cases of <strong>HIV infection<\/strong> were registered, and <strong>seven people<\/strong> were diagnosed with <strong>AIDS<\/strong> for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Sexual transmission was the most common route among the new <strong>HIV<\/strong> cases. The breakdown was as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>18 cases<\/strong> \u2014 sexual transmission;<\/li>\n<li><strong>1 case<\/strong> \u2014 parenteral transmission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These figures highlight the importance of <strong>HIV<\/strong> prevention for residents of the region.
