The <strong>Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Region<\/strong> reported the man\u2019s exposure. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/od.npu.gov.ua\/news\/v-odesi-politseiski-vykryly-cholovika-iakyi-vyhotovliav-dytiachu-pornohrafiiu-za-dopomohoiu-shtuchnoho-intelektu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">od.npu.gov.ua<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to investigators, the man found pornographic material depicting children online and saved the files. To create new photos and videos, he used a special artificial intelligence-based program, combining fragments of the material he had already saved.<\/p>\n<p>Law enforcement officers searched his home and seized computer equipment. They found prohibited content on it, and the seized items were sent for forensic examination.<\/p>\n<p>The man has been notified of suspicion under parts <strong>1<\/strong> and <strong>3<\/strong> of Article <strong>301-1<\/strong> of the <strong>Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong>. He faces up to <strong>12 years<\/strong> in prison and a ban on holding certain positions or engaging in certain activities for up to <strong>3 years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The question of what preventive measure to impose is currently being considered.
