Specialists attributed the chemical deviations mainly to the natural characteristics of the water bodies.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, <strong>no cholera vibrio<\/strong> was detected in any surface-water sample tested. No outbreaks of infectious diseases linked to swimming in water bodies were reported in the region during the summer.<\/p>\n<p>Water sampling took place from <strong>May 12<\/strong> to <strong>August 31<\/strong>. During this period, specialists collected <strong>174 samples<\/strong> and conducted <strong>1,044 laboratory tests<\/strong>. The <strong>Center\u2019s<\/strong> laboratories tested microbiological and sanitary-chemical indicators, while selected samples were also tested for virological and parasitological indicators.<\/p>\n<p>Monitoring covered water bodies in various communities across the region:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the <strong>Inhul<\/strong>, <strong>Southern Buh<\/strong> and <strong>Bulboka<\/strong> rivers;<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>Sofiivske Reservoir<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>Buzkyi Estuary<\/strong> and the <strong>Tyligul Estuary<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Samples were collected at the following swimming and recreation spots:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Strilka Beach<\/strong> in <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chaika Beach<\/strong> in <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>Namiv<\/strong> recreation area in <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Raiduha Beach<\/strong> in <strong>Pervomaisk<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>the municipal beaches of <strong>Yuzhnoukrainsk<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>the municipal beaches of <strong>Nova Odesa<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>the village beach in <strong>Kryve Ozero<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>a children\u2019s swimming area at the <strong>Pelahiivskyi<\/strong> recreation camp in <strong>Bashtanka District<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>recreation areas along the <strong>Tyligul Estuary<\/strong> near <strong>Kobleve<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>recreation areas along the same estuary near <strong>Ukrainka<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keeping the public informed about test results remains an important part of monitoring.
