In the village of <strong>Kozyrka<\/strong>, the owner of a house suffered burns while trying to put out the fire himself. Rescuers reported these and other incidents in a briefing published on <strong>October 7, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A house was on fire in the <strong>Radisnyi Sad community of Mykolaiv district<\/strong>. The injured owner, a man <strong>born in 1967<\/strong>, was taken by medical personnel to a burn unit. After arriving, rescuers extinguished the fire, which covered an area of <strong>40 sq. m<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The previous day, <strong>Russian forces<\/strong> continued attacking the region with strike <strong>UAVs<\/strong>. These attacks caused <strong>three fires<\/strong>, which firefighters extinguished. No one was injured in these incidents.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters also extinguished a separate fire at a facility in <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong>, covering an area of <strong>150 sq. m<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Another <strong>three minor fires<\/strong> broke out in residential areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in the <strong>Vradiivka community of Pervomaiskyi district<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>in the <strong>Chornomorsk community of Mykolaiv district<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>in the city of <strong>Nova Odesa<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Firefighters also extinguished fires involving dry grass and rubbish in open areas. Firefighting operations took place:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in the <strong>Chornomorsk community of Mykolaiv district<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>in the <strong>Sukhoielanets community of Mykolaiv district<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>in the <strong>Kobleve community of Mykolaiv district<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>in the <strong>Myhiia community of Pervomaiskyi district<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>in <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>More than <strong>50 State Emergency Service personnel<\/strong>, <strong>13 vehicles<\/strong>, and local fire brigades were involved in extinguishing the fires.
