The bribe was not cash but vouchers for diesel fuel: in Odesa<\/strong> the Khadzhibey District Court on 24 September 2026<\/strong>\u00a0 found<\/a> guilty an officer of the mobilization department of the Territorial Centers for Recruitment and Social Support (TRC), who had promised to influence the decision of the military-medical commission. For the undue benefit received he must pay a fine of UAH 93,500<\/strong>, and for three years<\/strong> will not be able to hold positions in territorial recruitment centers.<\/p>\n

As stated in the court’s verdict, the incident occurred on 29 June 2026<\/strong>. The lieutenant received from a representative of the person liable for military service 100 vouchers<\/strong> for 1,000 liters<\/strong> of diesel fuel with a total value of UAH 79,900<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For this reward the official promised to assist in issuing the man a referral to the Military Medical Commission (MMC), entering into the relevant documents information about the absence of violations of military registration, and also coordinating with the head of the military-medical commission a decision to recognize the person liable for military service as limitedly fit for military service. During the trial the accused fully admitted his guilt.<\/p>\n

The court also credited him with time served – from 29 June to 3 August 2026<\/strong>. In addition, the property seizure was lifted. After the verdict came into legal force the court ordered the return of the bail posted for the accused in the amount of UAH 266,240<\/strong>. The diesel fuel vouchers that were the subject of the undue benefit will be handed over to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Odesa Oblast<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
