A serviceman mobilized into the military fatally beat his partner in one of the settlements of the Pervomaiskyi district<\/strong> in the Mykolaiv region<\/strong>. The attack occurred on the evening of March 2, 2026<\/strong>. The circumstances of the case are set out in the verdict of the Pervomaiskyi City District Court of Mykolaiv Oblast<\/strong>, published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

That evening the man and the woman were drinking alcohol together. Two young<\/strong> children were also in the house. During the quarrel the man took a wooden bat and began to strike his partner. The blows continued until the bat broke. Even after that the attack did not stop: the man beat the woman with his hands and feet on the head, torso and limbs.<\/p>\n

Among the victim’s numerous injuries were bone fractures, a brain hemorrhage, lung contusions, abrasions and hemorrhages. The injuries led to the development of traumatic shock and fat embolism, from which the woman died.<\/p>\n

During the attack the man was intoxicated. In court he fully admitted his guilt and explained that that evening he had drunk approximately 1.5 liters<\/strong> of wine.<\/p>\n

The court found him guilty of intentional grievous bodily harm under aggravating circumstances that caused the victim’s death. The sentence imposed is 9 years<\/strong> of imprisonment.<\/p>\n

After the mother’s death, her children were left alone. Another fam<\/strong>ily took guardianship of them.<\/p>\n
