Russian missile-and-drone strike on Kyiv<\/strong> and Kyiv Oblast<\/strong> caused deaths, destruction of homes and fires. The attack lasted from the evening of 29 September<\/strong> into the night of 30 September<\/strong>. An update as of 07:24<\/strong> reports two fatalities<\/strong>. Among the victims was a child found under the rubble of a house in Vyshhorod<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The first information about the consequences of the attack was released by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration<\/strong> Timur Tkachenko<\/strong> and Kyiv\u2019s mayor Vitali Klitschko<\/strong>. Later the information about fires and destruction was supplemented by the State Emergency Service (SES)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In Vyshhorod<\/strong> rescuers pulled three people<\/strong> from under the rubble of a destroyed private house. The rescued child suffered an acute stress reaction. A man sustained shrapnel wounds to the head, and a woman suffered a leg injury. All are receiving necessary medical care. After the body of another child was found, rescuers continued work to extricate it.<\/p>\n
