September 30<\/strong> left a noticeable mark in the shipbuilding history of Mykolaiv<\/strong>: at the Black Sea Shipyard on that day one major stage was completed and another began simultaneously. The date is also connected with the history of the shipyard itself, nearly 3 million UAH<\/strong> for projects in the Korabelnyi District<\/strong>, a well-known Mykolaiv native, and Russian strikes on the city and region.<\/p>\n

September 30, 1975<\/strong>: one cruiser launched, another laid down<\/h2>\n

At the Black Sea Shipyard in Mykolaiv<\/strong> the aircraft-carrying cruiser “Minsk” was launched<\/a>, and on the same day the next ship in the series, “Novorossiysk”, was laid down on slipway “0”. Thus, September 30, 1975<\/strong> became a rare day for the Mykolaiv shipyard when, at one enterprise, the slipway stage of building one large ship was practically completed and that of another began almost simultaneously.<\/p>\n

September 30, 1981<\/strong>: Yevhen Ivanovych Gashenko<\/strong> born in Mykolaiv<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In Mykolaiv<\/strong> Yevhen Ivanovych Gashenko was born<\/a> \u2014 a Ukrainian actor, TV presenter and screenwriter, a regular participant in projects by “Diesel Studio”. He received his higher education at the Mykolaiv branch of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, and from 2000<\/strong> he performed with Yehor Krutoholov and Mykhailo Shynkarenko in the KVN team “Diesel”.<\/p>\n

September 30, 1999<\/strong>: the shipyard was officially registered as a state holding<\/h2>\n

In the executive committee of the Mykolaiv<\/strong> City Council the State Joint-Stock Holding Company “Black Sea Shipyard”<\/a> and its subsidiary open joint-stock companies were registered. The State Archive of Mykolaiv Oblast notes that the holding was created on the basis of the state enterprise “ChSZ” in accordance with a government decision and orders of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

September 30, 2019<\/strong>: about 3 million UAH<\/strong> allocated for the Korabelnyi District<\/strong><\/h2>\n

“Korabeliv.Info” reported<\/a> that about 3 million UAH<\/strong> were planned to be directed from the city budget to implement the winning projects of the “Public Budget-2019” in the Korabelnyi District<\/strong>. In particular, exactly 1 million UAH<\/strong> was allocated for a “Health Trail” in Kulbakino, and another 990,000 UAH<\/strong> was planned for the installation of a “Turkish fountain” in Bogoyavlensky Park<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

September 30, 2022<\/strong>: a missile struck an apartment building \u2014 at least 9 injured<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Around 00:56<\/strong> Russian forces carried out a massive missile strike on Mykolaiv<\/strong>, reportedly using S-300<\/strong> missiles. After a strike on a residential high-rise, rescuers freed a woman, and another 8 people<\/strong> were wounded \u2014 overall at least 9 injured<\/strong><\/a> were reported. 4 apartments<\/strong> were completely destroyed, another 6<\/strong> were partially damaged; a medical facility was also damaged.<\/p>\n

September 30, 2024<\/strong>: rail traffic to Mykolaiv<\/strong> temporarily suspended due to an attack<\/h2>\n

After a nighttime Russian attack on a critical infrastructure facility in Bashtanka district caused a fire, “Ukrzaliznytsia” for safety reasons temporarily closed the Dolynska \u2014 Mykolaiv<\/strong> section. “Korabeliv.Info” reported<\/a> that passengers of train No. 121\/122<\/strong> Kyiv \u2014 Mykolaiv<\/strong> were transferred to buses from Dolynska station. That same night, air defense forces over Mykolaiv Oblast destroyed 3<\/strong> Shahed-131\/136 drones.<\/p>\n

September 30, 1841<\/strong> by the modern calendar, in Hadyach Mykhailo Petrovych Drahomanov<\/strong> was born \u2014 a historian, publicist, public and political figure. The Ukrainian Institute of National Memory clarifies<\/a> that by the old style his birthdate was September 18, 1841<\/strong>. And on September 29\u201330, 1938<\/strong> in Munich the leaders of Germany, Italy, Great Britain and France agreed<\/a> to transfer the Sudetenland of Czechoslovakia to Nazi Germany; representatives of Czechoslovakia itself were not involved in the negotiations.<\/p>\n

For Mykolaiv<\/strong> September 30<\/strong> particularly clearly shows different eras of the city: from the time when giant ships were launched and laid down on Mykolaiv slipways at the same time, to the recent history of the Korabelnyi District<\/strong> and the years of the full-scale war.<\/p>\n
