The report was received by <strong>Police Department No. 2 of the Voznesensk District Directorate<\/strong> on <strong>September 28<\/strong>. The woman said her son left home and did not return.<\/p>\n<p>Searches continued around the clock without breaks. The operation involved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>personnel from the <strong>criminal investigation department<\/strong> and the <strong>preventive activities department<\/strong> of the regional police;<\/li>\n<li>employees of the <strong>Voznesensk District Police<\/strong> and neighboring territorial units;<\/li>\n<li>operatives and juvenile prevention inspectors;<\/li>\n<li>community police officers;<\/li>\n<li>canine handlers with service dogs;<\/li>\n<li>servicemen of the <strong>National Guard of Ukraine<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>local residents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Search teams examined <strong>Tsvitkove<\/strong> and the village outskirts, checked roads, shelterbelts, fields, wastelands, abandoned buildings and bodies of water. A drone was used for hard-to-reach areas, while ground teams worked with thermal imagers. A canine handler with a service dog checked likely routes the child may have taken.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, police searched more than <strong>10 kilometers<\/strong> of territory within a radius of the family\u2019s home. In the morning, while surveying the <strong>Southern Bug<\/strong> water area from the air, the child was spotted with the help of a drone.<\/p>\n<p>Rescuers and police on watercraft recovered the body from the river. It was sent for a forensic medical examination, which is to determine the final cause of death.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators opened a criminal case under <strong>Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong> \u2014 this qualification is the procedure for such cases.
