In response to a <a href=\"https:\/\/nikcenter.org\/2026\/09\/golova-sudu-v-mykolayevi-pryvatyzuvala-sluzhbovu-kvartyru-mayuchy-v-rodyni-neruhomist-i-213-tysyach-zaoshhadzhen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">request<\/a> from <strong>Nikcenter<\/strong> journalists, the court stated that these questions relate to the judge&#8217;s private life.<\/p>\n<p>The court believes that the journalists were asking not about the activities of a state body, so the provisions of the <strong>Law of Ukraine &#8220;On Access to Public Information&#8221;<\/strong> cannot be applied in this case.<\/p>\n<p>The court&#8217;s response states:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>\u201cSince the request concerns not the activities of a state body (the court), but is aimed at obtaining information that pertains to the private life of the head of the court <strong>Halyna Volodymyrivna Podzigun<\/strong>, who, as a natural person, cannot be a manager of public information, the provisions of the <strong>Law of Ukraine &#8220;On Access to Public Information&#8221;<\/strong> cannot be applied in this case.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The questions arose after <strong>Nikcenter<\/strong>&#8216;s investigation \u201cHousing out of turn: how communal apartments get into the hands of judges and officials?\u201d.
