The mother\u2011in\u2011law of the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko<\/strong> \u2014 Alina Shkrobanets<\/strong> \u2014 in July 2023<\/strong> invested about $670,000<\/strong> in the construction of a villa in Dubai<\/strong>. This is stated in an investigation by the “Schemes”<\/strong> project of Radio Liberty<\/strong>, which is based on data from the Dubai real estate registry.<\/p>\n

The villa, with an area of over 143 square meters<\/strong>, is located in the Mykonos<\/strong> cluster of the elite residential complex Damac Lagoons<\/strong>. The deal is dated 20 July 2023<\/strong>. The value of the property at that time was approximately UAH 24.5 million<\/strong> at the official exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Journalists obtained the information from a leak of the Dubai Land Department<\/strong> database during cooperation with OCCRP<\/strong>. At the time of the investment, Ruslan Kravchenko<\/strong> was head of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2024<\/strong> Kravchenko<\/strong> divorced Olena Shkrobanets<\/strong>. Later the owner of the villa became Ukrainian restaurateur Andriy Keybash<\/strong>, who runs the Kyiv restaurant La Veranda<\/strong>. The Dubai registry records the transfer of ownership in 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Andriy Keybash<\/strong> confirmed to journalists that he purchased the villa that year for almost $670,000<\/strong>. According to him, he found the offer online and did not buy the property directly from Alina Shkrobanets<\/strong>. At the same time, the restaurateur did not say who exactly sold him the property.<\/p>\n

Journalists found videos on the official page of the La Veranda<\/strong> restaurant in which Alina Shkrobanets<\/strong> visits the venue with her family. Andriy Keybash<\/strong> also appears in one of the recordings. In another video filmed during the same period, Ruslan Kravchenko<\/strong> was seen in the company of Ihor Shkrobanets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Alina Shkrobanets<\/strong>, in a comment to “Schemes”<\/strong>, denied purchasing property in the United Arab Emirates<\/strong>. She suggested that her personal data could have been used without her knowledge. The woman confirmed acquaintance with Andriy Keybash<\/strong>, but said she had not discussed buying property with him.<\/p>\n

The former husband of Alina Shkrobanets<\/strong>, a deputy of the Chernivtsi Oblast Council<\/strong>, Ihor Shkrobanets<\/strong>, also said he knew nothing about her purchase of property in the UAE<\/strong>. He did not rule out possible use of her personal data. Olena Shkrobanets<\/strong>, the ex\u2011wife of Ruslan Kravchenko<\/strong>, replied that she was not aware of the Dubai villa. At the time the “Schemes”<\/strong> investigation was published, journalists tried to obtain comment from Ruslan Kravchenko<\/strong> himself.<\/p>\n
