The Executive Committee of the Mykolaiv City Council<\/strong> approved the investment program of the municipal enterprise \u201cMykolaivvodokanal\u201d<\/strong> for 2027<\/strong>. The document provides for the renewal and reconstruction of the company\u2019s water supply and wastewater networks.<\/p>\n

The deputy director for project implementation of the municipal enterprise \u201cMykolaivvodokanal\u201d<\/strong>, Viktor Pisotsky<\/strong>, explained that the program is intended to increase the resilience of the water supply and wastewater systems that suffered significant damage as a result of the war.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo our main task is to maintain the existing systems in proper condition in order to provide the community of Mykolaiv<\/strong> with water and wastewater services,\u201d emphasized Viktor Pisotsky<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Among the main measures of the program are the renewal of the water supply networks. Significant investments are also planned to be directed to the reconstruction of the sewer infrastructure.<\/p>\n

To implement the planned measures, the enterprise will use its own and borrowed funds, as well as grant financing.<\/p>\n

\u201cOverall, we are trying to make maximum use of grant funds to reduce the burden on the city budget,\u201d said Viktor Pisotsky<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In addition, \u201cMykolaivvodokanal\u201d<\/strong> has already started a new program together with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development<\/strong>. It involves the reconstruction of city water mains, including in the central part of Mykolaiv<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych<\/strong> noted the assistance of international partners in restoring and modernizing the facilities of \u201cMykolaivvodokanal\u201d<\/strong>. He singled out the contribution of Denmark<\/strong> and thanked the partners for supporting the city.<\/p>\n
