In Mykolaiv<\/strong>, a legal entity’s property was seized over a multi-year heating debt. The case concerns a non-residential basement premises with an area of 274.7 square meters<\/strong> on Levanivtsiv Street. The debtor had not paid for services of OKP “Mykolaivoblteploenerho” since 2021<\/strong>. The enterprise reported<\/a> this on 18 September 2026<\/strong>. The description and seizure of the property were carried out by Mykolaivoblteploenerho employees together with representatives of the Zavodskyi Department of the State Enforcement Service. As of 18 September, the legal entity’s debt to the heating supplier amounted to 492.9 thousand hryvnias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The case reached forced collection after prolonged non-payment of bills. “Mykolaivoblteploenerho” went to court and obtained a ruling to recover the debt. After that, enforcement proceedings were opened and handed over to the State Enforcement Service for execution. As part of enforcing the court decision, the state enforcement officer described and seized the debtor’s property. The next step will be an appraisal of the basement premises.<\/p>\n

After the necessary procedures are completed, the property is planned to be put up for compulsory electronic auction through DP “SETAM”<\/strong>. The funds obtained from the sale of the property are to be used to repay the heating debt.<\/p>\n

This is not the first case of forced seizure of property over debts to “Mykolaivoblteploenerho”. On 10 September 2026<\/strong>, a 59-year-old<\/strong> resident of Mykolaiv region<\/strong> had a Chevrolet Niva 2008<\/strong> seized over a heating debt of more than 78 thousand hryvnias<\/strong>. The man even tried to prevent the vehicle from being loaded onto the tow truck, but the car was eventually delivered to the “SETAM” lot.<\/p>\n

The overall problem of heating debts in Mykolaiv<\/strong> remains widespread. As of 15 September 2026<\/strong>, overdue consumer debt to OKP “Mykolaivoblteploenerho” amounted to 237.9 million hryvnias<\/strong>. Since the beginning of the year, courts have issued 1542 rulings<\/strong> to recover over 22.735 million hryvnias<\/strong>, and state enforcement officers have forcibly collected almost 18.099 million hryvnias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
