September 12<\/strong> in Mykolaiv<\/strong> saw the presentation of the jubilee postal block \u201c125. Mykolaiv Zoo\u201d<\/strong>. Its author was the well-known Ukrainian illustrator and serviceman Viktor Harkusha<\/strong> with the call sign \u201cPicasso\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The stamp features a giraffe in a hat, a maned wolf with a monocle, a polar bear with a hetman\u2019s mace, a Cape rock hyrax and the only snow leopard in Ukraine<\/strong>. In the center of the composition the artist placed the gates of the Mykolaiv Zoo<\/strong> with the Ukrainian flag.<\/p>\n

\u201cEach stamp is a symbol of the resilience and uniqueness of the Mykolaiv Zoo<\/strong>,\u201d the organizers emphasized.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The presentation was timed to coincide with the celebration of Mykolaiv City Day<\/strong>. The special cancellation ceremony took place in the summer courtyard of the Mykolaiv Academic Art Drama Theater<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
