People who agree to such services risk losing money and receiving a forged document, the <strong>Main Service Center of the MIA<\/strong> and <strong>the Cyber Police<\/strong> warn.<\/p>\n<p>Potential clients are sought through messaging apps. They promise to quickly &#8220;solve the issue&#8221; without taking exams and without following the official procedure.<\/p>\n<p>For the service, fraudsters demand an advance payment to a private bank card. Besides money, they require copies of the passport, <strong>RNOKPP<\/strong> or an old driver&#8217;s license.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA)<\/strong> emphasizes that documents made this way can be counterfeit. Recently, a service center in the <strong>Ivano-Frankivsk region<\/strong> discovered such a license when a man tried to exchange it. A check showed that the series and number indicated in the document actually belonged to another person.<\/p>\n<p>Law enforcement advises not to trust offers to receive a driver&#8217;s license remotely or to bypass established procedures. Typical signs of fraud are the requirement to transfer funds to a private account and the promise to enter the document into the state register without a personal application.<\/p>\n<p>If money has already been transferred to the fraudsters, <strong>the Cyber Police<\/strong> recommends contacting the bank and the police as soon as possible.
