In Kherson<\/strong>, anti-personnel mines of the “Pryanyk” (“Plyushka”)<\/strong> type were discovered in at least two<\/strong> districts of the city. The police warn that the dangerous area may be larger, so residents are urged not to enter mined sections.<\/p>\n

The first find was discovered on Poltavska Street<\/strong> \u2014 near the intersection with 5th Viryovchyna<\/strong>. Another mined site was recorded on Nezalezhnosti Avenue<\/strong>, near the intersection with Yevropeyska Street<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The danger was reported on September 8<\/strong> by the police of Kherson region<\/strong>. The situation was also informed by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko<\/strong>. Law enforcement officers note that mines may be located outside the already discovered areas.<\/p>\n
