In Zaporizhzhia<\/strong>, a Russian drone attacked a passenger electric train. The train attendant of the \u00abDnipro\u2014Zaporizhzhia\u00bb<\/strong> train that was hit was killed. This was reported by the State Emergency Service (DSNS)<\/strong> and Ukrzaliznytsia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Passengers were evacuated before the attack. Ukrzaliznytsia<\/strong> staff helped people leave the train, which helped save them.<\/p>\n

After the drone struck, one<\/strong> of the electric train’s carriages caught fire. Approximately half an hour<\/strong> later, Russian forces attacked the formation again, and a fire broke out in another carriage.<\/p>\n

Rescuers arrived on the scene and began extinguishing the blaze. Their work was complicated by the threat of further strikes: after repeated attacks, DSNS<\/strong> personnel had to temporarily stop firefighting and move to shelters.<\/p>\n

Ukrzaliznytsia<\/strong> clarified that the train attendant of the \u00abDnipro\u2014Zaporizhzhia\u00bb<\/strong> train that was struck was killed.<\/p>\n

Previously, Russian drones had already attacked a passenger train in the Zaporizhzhia region<\/strong>. Then, passengers were also evacuated before the strike.<\/p>\n
