Today, 5 September<\/strong>, at about 10:00<\/strong> at an uncontrolled intersection of Bolharska and Hetmanska streets in the city of Voznesensk, a collision occurred between a Ford Fiesta car, driven by a 47-year-old<\/strong> man, and a Honda SK 50<\/strong> M Dio moped, which was driven by a 47-year-old<\/strong> rider.<\/p>\n

As a result of the road traffic accident, the moped rider sustained bodily injuries and was taken to a medical facility.<\/p>\n

Investigators have opened a criminal case under Part 1<\/strong> of Article 286<\/strong> of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, “Violation of traffic safety rules or the operation of vehicles by persons who drive vehicles.” The article’s penalty provides for up to three<\/strong> years of restriction of liberty with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for the same period.<\/p>\n

The police are establishing all the circumstances and causes of the traffic accident.<\/p>\n

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
