The Mykolaiv community greeted the defenders of Ukraine who returned home after being held in Russian captivity.<\/p>\n<p>Among those released are defenders of the <strong>30th<\/strong> Marine Corps. Mykolaiv remembers their contribution to the defense of Ukraine and continues to support the military, veterans and their families.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor <strong>Oleksandr Senkevych<\/strong> thanked the freed soldiers for their resilience and indomitability. He noted that after returning from captivity, recovery, adaptation and a sense of support are especially important. That is why a systematic municipal assistance program for released defenders operates in Mykolaiv.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Mykolaiv community<\/strong> regularly purchases and provides backpacks with basic essentials to Ukrainian defenders who return from Russian captivity.<\/p>\n<p>This time, on the mayor&#8217;s instructions, the head of the Department for War Veterans&#8217; Affairs, <strong>Serhii Zaitsev<\/strong>, delivered the necessary aid and backpacks for the freed soldiers.<\/p>\n<p>City partners also join in supporting the freed soldiers.
