According to Prime Minister <strong>Serhii Koretskyi<\/strong>, this has already allowed them to find <strong>70 billion hryvnias<\/strong>. The government plans to allocate all of these funds to the needs of the army.<\/p>\n<p>The head of government said this during a session of the <strong>Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine<\/strong>, reports <strong>Interfax-Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\">\n<p>The government is introducing a strict austerity regime for budget funds that are not assigned to defense needs. As a result, we have already found <strong>70<\/strong> billion in savings, which will be fully directed to defense needs, \u2014 he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The savings concern expenditures not related to defense. At the same time, the government says it will meet all social obligations, including ensuring the payment of pensions and salaries.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\">\n<p>At the same time, we must fulfill all necessary social obligations. Therefore, there will be no problems with pensions and salaries, \u2014 the prime minister assured.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While preparing the state budget for <strong>2027<\/strong>, the government plans to adhere to the principle of maximum savings. <strong>Serhii Koretskyi<\/strong> called on members of parliament to participate in forming next year\u2019s budget.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier it was reported that the government directed an additional <strong>1 billion hryvnias<\/strong> to restore critical and social infrastructure in <strong>16 regions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Previously we
