September 1<\/strong> marked the start of the new school year in Mykolaiv<\/strong>. In-person instruction was organized in 45 schools<\/strong>, another 7 institutions<\/strong> are operating in a mixed format, and 12<\/strong> \u2014 remotely.<\/p>\n

The format of Mykolaiv schools’ operation was announced by the mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych<\/strong>. He emphasized that during air-raid alerts, the safety of children remains the key condition for holding classes.<\/p>\n

Today, while an air-raid alert is ongoing in Mykolaiv, we especially keenly understand how important it is that children are safe, \u2014 said Oleksandr Senkevych<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Over the years of the full-scale war, together with international partners, 46 shelters<\/strong> have been equipped in Mykolaiv schools. This makes it possible to hold in-person classes where security conditions allow. Work to improve the shelters continues.<\/p>\n

The mayor separately thanked teachers who continue to teach children during air-raid alerts and directly in shelters. He also expressed gratitude to parents for their trust and support.<\/p>\n

We wish students an interesting school year, good friends and more ordinary school days \u2014 without alerts, \u2014 emphasized Oleksandr Senkevych<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
