These data were provided by the <strong>State Statistics Service of Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the second quarter of <strong>2026<\/strong> Ukrainians paid <strong>UAH 67.1 billion<\/strong> for utility services. At the same time, the amount of charges for this period was lower \u2014 <strong>UAH 53.5 billion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The largest amounts of debt relate to the following services:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>heating and hot water supply \u2014 <strong>UAH 33.8 billion<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>natural gas supply \u2014 <strong>UAH 29.1 billion<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>electricity \u2014 <strong>UAH 17.3 billion<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>water supply and wastewater disposal \u2014 <strong>UAH 10.5 billion<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>management of apartment buildings \u2014 <strong>UAH 10.1 billion<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>household waste collection \u2014 <strong>UAH 3.4 billion<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thus, the largest share of total debt is related to heating and hot water supply: <strong>UAH 33.8 billion<\/strong> \u2014 almost one third of the total debt.<\/p>\n<p>It was separately noted that the <strong>Mykolaiv region<\/strong> is among the top three regions of Ukraine with the largest utility debts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Earlier we wrote:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/en\/2026\/08\/602929\/mykolaiv-region-is-among-the-top-three-regions-with-the-highest-number-of-new-utility-arrears\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mykolaiv region \u2014 among the top three regions with the largest number of new utility debts<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/en\/2026\/06\/594636\/for-the-recovery-of-uah-6-2-million-in-debts-mykolaivvodokanal-is-ready-to-pay-collectors-uah-1-24-million\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">For the recovery of UAH 6.2 million in debts, &#8220;Mykolaivvodokanal&#8221; is ready to pay collectors UAH 1.24 million<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/2025\/08\/552860\/za-chas-vijny-borhy-za-komunalku-zrosly-na-tretynu-khto-bude-platyty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">During the war, utility debts increased by a third \u2014 who will pay?<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/2024\/08\/466919\/majzhe-polovyna-mistian-ne-platiat-za-posluhy-mykolaivvodokanala-kp-liakaie-zakryttiam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">About half of residents do not pay for &#8220;Mykolaivvodokanal&#8221; services \u2014 the municipal enterprise warns of closure<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/2023\/03\/384414\/ce-duzhe-kritichno-dlya-pidpriiemstva-mikolaivci-zaborguvali-vodokanalu-bilshe-230-miljoniv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;The current tariff no longer covers the costs of &#8216;Mykolaivvodokanal&#8217;,&#8221; \u2014 Director Dudenko<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- website-article-source:f9a79bbd6bb52e665cc5fbc7 --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\ud83c\udfe0 According to the State Statistics Service, the total debt of Ukrainians for housing and communal services reached 104.2 billion hryvnias.<br \/>\n\ud83d\udd39 The largest debts were accumulated for heating and hot water, gas and electricity.
