Russian forces during 28 August<\/strong> and on the morning of 29 August 2026<\/strong> carried out a combined attack on Mykolaiv<\/strong> and Mykolaiv Oblast<\/strong>, using strike UAVs “Shahed<\/strong>”, cruise missiles “Banderol<\/strong>”, an “Iskander-M<\/strong>” ballistic missile, FPV drones, “Molniya<\/strong>” and two guided aerial bombs.<\/p>\n

Port, civilian and energy infrastructure came under attack.<\/p>\n

In particular, during 28 August<\/strong> and on the morning of 29 August<\/strong> Russian forces attacked the region with strike UAVs of the “Shahed<\/strong>” type. Targets included port and civilian infrastructure. In Mykolaiv<\/strong>, drone strikes damaged a retail supermarket and a warehouse. A fire broke out at one of the sites, which rescuers extinguished. There were no casualties.<\/p>\n

On the evening of 28 August<\/strong> the Russian army attacked Mykolaiv<\/strong> with cruise missiles “Banderol<\/strong>”. An energy infrastructure facility in the city was hit.<\/p>\n

The attack damaged the window glazing of three apartment buildings<\/strong>, an administrative building, three garages<\/strong> and one vehicle<\/strong>. No people were injured. State Emergency Service units worked at the impact sites. Due to the danger of repeated attacks, rescuers had to temporarily withdraw personnel to a safe distance, after which they continued the cleanup operations.<\/p>\n

Mykolaiv Raion:<\/p>\n

The enemy struck an energy infrastructure facility in the raion with an Iskander-M<\/strong> ballistic missile.<\/p>\n

In addition, it attacked the Ochakiv community twice with FPV drones. According to the Regional Military Administration, there were no casualties.<\/p>\n

Another horror was the report of an airstrike on the Halytsynivska community<\/strong>. On the night of 29 August<\/strong> Russian aviation used against the community two guided aerial bombs<\/strong>. Preliminary information indicates that no civilians were injured as a result of the strike.<\/p>\n

In the Bashtanskyi district<\/strong> Russian forces also attacked the Horokhivska community<\/strong> with a UAV of the “Molniya<\/strong>” type. There were also no injuries there.<\/p>\n

In just one day Russia used several different types of weapons against Mykolaiv Oblast<\/strong> \u2014 “Shahed<\/strong>”, “Banderol<\/strong>”, “Iskander-M<\/strong>”, KABs (guided aerial bombs), “Molniya<\/strong>” and FPV drones. Damage was recorded to civilian and energy facilities; however, as of the morning of 29 August<\/strong>, there are no fatalities or injuries.<\/p>\n
