Entrepreneurs of Mykolaiv<\/strong> were reminded about property insurance and the land payment exemption. In Mykolaiv, damage to business property due to the war continues to be recorded, and entrepreneurs are being reminded about available support mechanisms.<\/p>\n

So far specialists have inspected 265<\/strong> business objects. At the same time, a single<\/strong> object can cover dozens of separate buildings and structures. For example, when inspecting a large terminal, a single<\/strong> object in the statistics can actually include about 50<\/strong> buildings.<\/p>\n

Head of the State Architectural and Construction Control Department Olena Tuova<\/strong>, during a press conference, drew entrepreneurs\u2019 attention to the possibility of insuring property against war risks: \u201cIt is important for business to know that today it is possible to insure their property against war risks. There are two<\/strong> programs that provide compensation depending on the insurance terms \u2014 up to 3<\/strong> million UAH and up to 30<\/strong> million UAH.\u201d<\/p>\n

The first program concerns damage that occurred in 2026<\/strong> and provides for possible compensation of up to 3<\/strong> million UAH. To participate, it is necessary to conclude an insurance contract, pay the insurance premium, and in case of damage \u2014 submit the appropriate claim. The object must be entered into the Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property, and the fact of damage must be documented.<\/p>\n

The second program operates in 10<\/strong> regions of Ukraine, including Mykolaiv, and provides insurance coverage of up to 30<\/strong> million UAH. The insurance premium is 0.5<\/strong>%. After the insured event occurs, documents are processed within 30<\/strong> days, and if additional processing is required \u2014 up to 60<\/strong> days.<\/p>\n

At the same time, entrepreneurs should take into account that the paid insurance premium is non-refundable, and compensation depends on the availability of funds within the respective program.<\/p>\n

Another support mechanism is a land fee exemption for legal entities whose property was damaged as a result of armed aggression.<\/p>\n

As reported by the Deputy Director of the Department of Municipal Economy Ihor Nabatov<\/strong>, the city council has extended this benefit. If previously it was established until January 1, 2026<\/strong>, then after the amendments on May 9, 2026<\/strong> its validity is defined as six<\/strong> months from the day of termination or cancellation of martial law.<\/p>\n

For this, it is necessary to document the damage and the category of the object. Confirmation can be a commission inspection report or a technical report \u2014 if its preparation was required following the inspection.<\/p>\n

The prepared documents must be submitted to the office of the Mykolaiv City Council. After that, the land management office within the Department of Architecture prepares the corresponding amendments to the land lease agreement.<\/p>\n

Thus, it is important for entrepreneurs first of all to document the damage, obtain the appropriate documents, and submit them to the city council. This will allow them to take advantage of the support mechanisms provided for damaged businesses.<\/p>\n
