In the morning of 19 August 2026<\/strong>, Russian forces attacked a route bus with a drone in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The strike occurred at approximately 08:50<\/strong>, while the bus was traveling along one of the city’s streets. This was reported<\/a> by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin. As a result of the attack, four civilian passengers<\/strong> were killed. Their identities are being established by the relevant services.<\/p>\n

Initially, the regional authorities reported four injured women<\/strong>. All the victims were taken to hospital, where doctors are conducting examinations and providing necessary care. Later, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko<\/strong>, clarified<\/a> that the number of wounded had risen to five<\/strong>. A 58-year-old bus driver<\/strong> was taken to hospital with a blast injury. The man is undergoing further examinations.<\/p>\n
