In Kyiv<\/strong> a 42-year-old<\/strong> man was notified of suspicion of the sexual corruption of his own underage daughter and of forcing her to participate in the production of child pornography. This was reported<\/a> by the Office of the Prosecutor General<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the investigation, the illegal actions against the child began in the spring of 2024<\/strong>, when the girl was only 3 years old<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement reports that the man committed lewd acts against his own daughter, called it a “game” and photographed what was happening.<\/p>\n

During a search, law enforcement officers found relevant photographic materials. Officials also discovered video files containing child pornography on the man, which, according to the investigation, were downloaded from the Internet.<\/p>\n

The actions of the 42-year-old<\/strong> suspect were classified as the corruption of a minor committed by a family member, as well as the production of child pornography and forcing a minor child to participate in the creation of such materials.<\/p>\n

The man is charged under part 2<\/strong> of article 156<\/strong>, part 1<\/strong> and part 4<\/strong> of article 301-1<\/strong> of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Procedural supervision in the criminal proceedings is being carried out by juvenile prosecutors of the Obolon District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Kyiv<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors asked the court to impose pretrial detention on the suspect. However, the court set bail for him in the amount of 332,000 UAH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The prosecution did not agree with this decision and is appealing it. The prosecution insists on keeping the suspect in custody.<\/p>\n

In accordance with article 62<\/strong> of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent until their guilt is proven by a court conviction.<\/p>\n
