This amounts to <strong data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"902\">72.3%<\/strong> of the total number checked. This is stated in the response of the <strong data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1000\">Office of the Prosecutor General<\/strong> to a request from <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.obozrevatel.com\/ukr\/ekonomika-glavnaya\/economy\/prokurori-z-invalidnistyu-provalili-perevirku-u-absolyutnoi-bilshosti-diagnoz-ne-pidtverdivsya.htm?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1010\" data-end=\"1178\">OBOZ.UA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1181\" data-end=\"1207\">Based on the results of the review:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1209\" data-end=\"1420\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1c457eo\" data-start=\"1209\" data-end=\"1275\"><strong data-start=\"1211\" data-end=\"1242\">Disability was completely revoked for 207 prosecution employees<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"3ub0tj\" data-start=\"1276\" data-end=\"1346\"><strong data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1292\">For 109 people<\/strong> the group or the period for which it was assigned was changed;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"ef229t\" data-start=\"1347\" data-end=\"1420\">for <strong data-start=\"1351\" data-end=\"1369\">121 employees<\/strong>, or <strong data-start=\"1375\" data-end=\"1384\">27.7%<\/strong>, the disability was confirmed without changes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1422\" data-end=\"1580\">In <strong data-start=\"1424\" data-end=\"1447\">November 2024<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1480\" data-end=\"1509\">523 people with disabilities<\/strong> worked in the prosecutor\u2019s offices. As of <strong data-start=\"1521\" data-end=\"1542\">August 2026<\/strong>, their number had decreased to <strong data-start=\"1572\" data-end=\"1579\">337<\/strong>. At the same time, the Office of the Prosecutor General does not separately record how many employees with disabilities resigned. Therefore, the reasons for the reduction in their number in each specific case are unknown.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1767\" data-end=\"1913\">According to the publication, some prosecutors are contesting the results of repeated medical examinations and are trying to regain the status of a person with a disability through the courts. Prosecutors\u2019 interest in such a status may be explained by special conditions for pension entitlement. According to <strong>Art. 86<\/strong> of the Law of Ukraine &#8220;On the Prosecutor&#8217;s Office&#8221;, prosecutors with disabilities of <strong data-start=\"2141\" data-end=\"2159\">group I or II<\/strong> may receive the corresponding pension if they have at least <strong data-start=\"2218\" data-end=\"2258\">10 years of service in the prosecutor\u2019s offices<\/strong>, regardless of age.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2281\" data-end=\"2446\">For a regular prosecutor\u2019s length-of-service pension, it is necessary to have at least <strong data-start=\"2357\" data-end=\"2386\">25 years of total service<\/strong>, of which at least <strong data-start=\"2406\" data-end=\"2418\">15 years<\/strong> must be in prosecutorial positions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2448\" data-end=\"2590\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Having a disability does not prohibit a prosecutor from continuing to work.
