In the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine<\/strong>, a bill has been registered that proposes to expand the list of grounds for obtaining a deferral from mobilization. It concerns bill No.15494<\/a>, received by parliament on 10 August <\/strong>2026. The author of the document is People’s Deputy Heorhiy Mazurashu<\/strong>. He proposes amendments to Art.23 of the Law of Ukraine “On mobilization preparation and mobilization”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

One of the proposed provisions concerns parents who actually raise a child on their own in Ukraine. The right to a deferral is proposed to be granted to one of the parents if the other:<\/p>\n
