During August 2<\/strong> and the morning of August 3, 2026<\/strong>, Russian occupying forces continued to attack Mykolaiv Oblast<\/strong> with strike drones. Under attack were Mykolaiv<\/strong>, the port infrastructure of Mykolaiv district<\/strong>, Snihurivka<\/strong> and settlements of the Snihurivka community.<\/p>\n

As reported by the regional military administration as of 07:00 August 3<\/strong>, during the previous day the enemy attacked the region with strike UAVs of the “Shahed” type.<\/p>\n

In Mykolaiv<\/strong>, a lyceum building was damaged as a result of a Russian strike. A school bus caught fire on the premises of the educational institution.<\/p>\n

The port infrastructure of Mykolaiv district<\/strong> was also attacked. As a result of the strike, 3 civilian vessels<\/strong> were damaged. There is no information about casualties at this site.<\/p>\n

In Snihurivka<\/strong>, a fire broke out in the production equipment of an agricultural enterprise as a result of the attack. According to official data, no people were injured in that strike.<\/p>\n

The most severe consequences were recorded in the Snihurivka community of Bashtanka district<\/strong>. During the previous day and the morning of August 3<\/strong>, Russian forces attacked the community with 4<\/strong> drones of the “Molniya” type and 1<\/strong> FPV drone.<\/p>\n

As a result of the strike carried out the day before, a couple was injured: a 66-year-old man<\/strong> and a 63-year-old woman<\/strong>. The man was hospitalized. Medical personnel assess his condition as severe and unstable. The woman is receiving outpatient treatment.<\/p>\n

During the same attack a private residential house was damaged.<\/p>\n

In the morning of August 3<\/strong> the enemy again attacked the Snihurivka community. The strike damaged an administrative building and a retail establishment. According to preliminary information, no people were injured during the morning attack.<\/p>\n
