At the same time, the average salary of junior nurses for the first half of <strong>2026<\/strong> did not even reach <strong>10 thousand hryvnias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These data are contained in the official response of the municipal non-profit enterprise KNP MMR &#8220;<strong>Primary Health Care Center No. 7<\/strong>&#8221; dated <strong>29 July 2026<\/strong> to an information request from the editorial office of <a href=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/en\/\">Korabelov.info<\/a>. The document was signed by the acting director of the center, <strong>Svitlana Kursa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>One in three doctor positions is missing<\/h2>\n<p>As of <strong>1 July 2026<\/strong>, the center was staffed with doctors at <strong>66.7%<\/strong>. Therefore, approximately <strong>33.3%<\/strong> of the planned doctor positions remain vacant \u2014 in fact, every third specialist is missing.<\/p>\n<p>The institution is staffed with nursing personnel at <strong>80.7%<\/strong> on average. This means a shortage of about <strong>19.3%<\/strong> of employees in this category. Only the positions of junior medical staff, according to the center\u2019s response, are filled at <strong>100%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the document does not specify how many authorized positions are provided and how many people actually work at the institution. Therefore, it is impossible to determine the exact number of doctors and nurses lacking based on the percentages alone.<\/p>\n<h2>From <strong>9 786<\/strong> to <strong>30 535 hryvnias<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The average salary of employees of PHC Center <strong>No. 7<\/strong> for the first <strong>6 months of 2026<\/strong> was:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>family doctors \u2014 <strong>30 535 UAH<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>pediatricians \u2014 <strong>29 837 UAH<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>nurses \u2014 <strong>20 938 UAH<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>center administration \u2014 <strong>17 268 UAH<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>junior nurses \u2014 <strong>9 786 UAH<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thus, the average salary of a family doctor turned out to be <strong>3.1 times<\/strong> higher than that of a junior nurse. Pediatricians received roughly three times more. Even the average salary of the administration exceeded the pay of junior nurses by <strong>7 482 UAH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the response does not clarify whether the amounts shown are before taxes or after deductions, nor whether bonuses, allowances, part-time work and different workloads of employees are taken into account. Therefore, these figures cannot be called net take-home pay.<\/p>\n<h2>The staffing problem has lasted for years<\/h2>\n<p>The shortage of medical workers in the Korabelnyi District did not arise today. Back in <strong>2017<\/strong> the center\u2019s management <a href=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/ru\/2017\/07\/51465\/khotim-chtoby-vy-nas-ponimali-glavvrach\/\">reported<\/a> that for <strong>12,500 children<\/strong> there were only <strong>7 pediatricians<\/strong>, who by standards could fully serve about <strong>5,600 children<\/strong>. At that time a doctor\u2019s salary was about <strong>3,500 UAH<\/strong>, which discouraged young graduates from taking district doctor positions.<\/p>\n<p>After the medical reform, the incomes of primary care doctors increased significantly. In <strong>2019<\/strong>, the head of PHC Center <strong>No. 7<\/strong>, <strong>Olena Vlasova<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/ru\/2019\/05\/124067\/vrachi-v-korabelnom-rajone-stali-zarabatyvat-v-2-3-raza-bolshe-izmenilos-li-ot-etogo-otnoshenie-k-pacientam\/\">said<\/a> that in some centers doctors, instead of <strong>6,000 UAH<\/strong>, began to receive <strong>16\u201318,000 UAH<\/strong> net. However, even the increase in salaries did not solve the issues of work quality and the shortage of specialists.<\/p>\n<h2>The war took patients and doctors<\/h2>\n<p>In May <strong>2025<\/strong> <strong>Olena Vlasova<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/2025\/05\/542339\/v-mykolaievi-zadumaly-reformu-shcho-bude-z-likariamy-ta-patsiientamy-v-korabelnomu-rajoni\/\">reported<\/a> that since the beginning of the full-scale war PHC Center <strong>No. 7<\/strong> lost about <strong>7,000 declarations<\/strong>: some residents left <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong>, and some doctors resigned or left the city. The reduction in the number of declarations directly affects the funding of primary care, since funds from the National Health Service depend on the number of patients. The optimization also affected the registrar of one of the family outpatient clinics in the Korabelnyi District.<\/p>\n<h2>Salaries rose, the deficit remained<\/h2>\n<p>Compared to <strong>2017<\/strong>, the nominal salary of doctors at PHC Center <strong>No. 7<\/strong> has increased several times. However, as of mid-<strong>2026<\/strong> the institution was still staffed with doctors at only two thirds.<\/p>\n<p>This indicates that the problem is not only the level of salaries. The staffing situation is affected by the war, the departure of the population and medical workers, reduced funding due to loss of declarations, workload on staff and constant plans to reorganize communal medicine.<\/p>\n<p>Particular attention is drawn to the pay of junior nurses. Despite <strong>100-percent<\/strong> staffing of this category, the average salary is only <strong>9 786 UAH<\/strong> \u2014 the lowest among all groups of employees listed in the
