In the evening of 23<\/strong> July in Voznesensk<\/strong>, a Central Asian Shepherd dog attacked a seven-year-old boy, causing facial injuries.<\/p>\n

The Voznesensk District Police Department reported the incident, publishing preliminary circumstances and the actions of law enforcement following their response to the scene. More details \u2014 in the department\u2019s statement at the link: here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred on Skhidna Street: the animal ran out of the yard of a private house and attacked the child while the boy was walking down the street with his brother.<\/p>\n

Medics diagnosed lacerations to the face. The victim is under medical supervision in a healthcare facility; there is no threat to life.<\/p>\n

Police questioned witnesses and drew up an administrative protocol against the 37<\/strong>-year-old owner of the dog for violating rules on keeping animals that resulted in harm to a person’s health (Part 3<\/strong> of Article 154<\/strong> of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses \u2014 \u041a\u0423\u043f\u0410\u041f).<\/p>\n

The case materials will be forwarded to the court shortly. The owner may face a fine and confiscation of the animal.<\/p>\n
