Following the results of June 2026<\/strong>, the OLX Real Estate platform recorded a further increase in housing rental rates in Ukraine; at the same time, Mykolaiv<\/strong> is among the most affordable regional centers for apartment prices, while the rental of private houses<\/strong> in the city, conversely, has decreased.<\/p>\n

In Mykolaiv<\/strong> the median rent for a one-room apartment is 6 950<\/strong> hryvnias per month, which is 16%<\/strong> higher than in January 2026<\/strong>. In Zhytomyr<\/strong>, Vinnytsia<\/strong> and Kherson<\/strong> apartment rental prices have hardly changed since the beginning of the year.<\/p>\n

The most expensive cities to rent one-room apartments now are Uzhhorod<\/strong> \u2014 22 133<\/strong> UAH (+5%<\/strong>), Lviv<\/strong> \u2014 20 168<\/strong> UAH (+12%<\/strong>), Kyiv<\/strong> \u2014 17 000<\/strong> UAH (+6%<\/strong>), Ivano-Frankivsk<\/strong> \u2014 16 500<\/strong> UAH (+10%<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Rental rates for one-room apartments rose fastest in Kharkiv<\/strong> \u2014 +40%<\/strong> (to 7 000<\/strong> UAH), Zaporizhzhia<\/strong> \u2014 +33%<\/strong> (to 8 000<\/strong> UAH), Sumy<\/strong> \u2014 +27%<\/strong> (to 7 000<\/strong> UAH), Odesa<\/strong> \u2014 +26%<\/strong> (to 12 000<\/strong> UAH).<\/p>\n

In the private houses segment the fluctuations are even more pronounced: in Mykolaiv<\/strong> the median rate is 10 000<\/strong> hryvnias per month, which is 33%<\/strong> less than in January 2026<\/strong>; this is the largest decrease among all regional centers of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

A decrease in house rental prices was also recorded in Ivano-Frankivsk<\/strong> \u2014 by 21%<\/strong> (to 22 461<\/strong> UAH), Chernivtsi<\/strong> \u2014 by 11%<\/strong> (to 26 938<\/strong> UAH), Kropyvnytskyi<\/strong> \u2014 by 11%<\/strong> (to 8 000<\/strong> UAH), Cherkasy<\/strong> \u2014 by 9%<\/strong> (to 12 800<\/strong> UAH), Vinnytsia<\/strong> \u2014 by 7%<\/strong> (to 13 000<\/strong> UAH).<\/p>\n

Conversely, the largest increases in this segment are observed in Kharkiv<\/strong> \u2014 +82%<\/strong> (to 22 750<\/strong> UAH), Ternopil<\/strong> \u2014 +77%<\/strong> (to 31 162<\/strong> UAH), Dnipro<\/strong> \u2014 +67%<\/strong> (to 25 000<\/strong> UAH), Zaporizhzhia<\/strong> \u2014 +50%<\/strong> (to 15 000<\/strong> UAH), Kherson<\/strong> \u2014 +50%<\/strong> (to 6 000<\/strong> UAH), Uzhhorod<\/strong> \u2014 +48%<\/strong> (to 64 299<\/strong> UAH).<\/p>\n

The most expensive cities for renting private houses remain Kyiv<\/strong> \u2014 112 026<\/strong> UAH per month, Uzhhorod<\/strong> \u2014 64 299<\/strong> UAH, Odesa<\/strong> \u2014 44 923<\/strong> UAH, Lviv<\/strong> \u2014 40 082<\/strong> UAH, while Mykolaiv<\/strong>, in this context, combines affordable apartments with a noticeable decrease in house prices.<\/p>\n
