Now about <strong>12<\/strong> thousand newborns appear each month versus approximately <strong>32<\/strong> thousand <strong>10<\/strong> years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest decline in births was recorded in front-line regions: in Donetsk region the number of newborns has decreased threefold, in Zaporizhzhia Oblast the reduction is <strong>23%<\/strong>. Negative trends are also seen in Vinnytsia, Lviv and Ternopil oblasts \u2014 by about <strong>20%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The leader in number of births was <strong>Kyiv<\/strong> \u2014 <strong>8,352<\/strong> children in half a year.
