The Korabelnyi District Court of the city of Mykolaiv<\/strong> found Vadym K.<\/strong> guilty; at the time of the offense he was serving in the military as the commander of the 2nd mechanized platoon of the 9th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion<\/strong> of one of the military units and held the military rank “captain”. For beating the woman the court imposed a fine of 850 hryvnias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The verdict in the case<\/a> No. 488\/2886\/26<\/strong> was issued by the Korabelnyi District Court on 8 June 2026<\/strong>. The criminal proceeding No. 12025153050000153<\/strong> was registered in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations on 21 November 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the case materials, on the evening of 20 November 2025<\/strong>, at approximately 20:20<\/strong>, Vadym K.<\/strong> was at the victim’s place of residence. During the conflict he formed the intent to inflict bodily harm on the woman.<\/p>\n

The court established that the serviceman dealt the victim at least 4 blows<\/strong> with both fists to the head and face.<\/p>\n

The woman was diagnosed with contusion of the soft tissues of the right postauricular and right zygomatic areas, abrasions on the face, and a hemorrhage of the mucous membrane of the upper lip. Experts concluded that these injuries belong to the category of minor bodily injuries.<\/p>\n

The defendant’s actions were qualified under Part 1 of Article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong> \u2014 intentional minor bodily injury.<\/p>\n

The case was considered in a simplified procedure without holding a court hearing and without the participation of the parties. Vadym K.<\/strong> confirmed in writing that he fully admits his guilt, does not dispute the circumstances established during the inquiry, and agrees to the consideration of the indictment in his absence.<\/p>\n

When imposing the sentence the court took into account that the defendant had no prior convictions, sincerely repented, was a serviceman at the time of the offense and had an average service record. The victim reported that she has no material claims against him.<\/p>\n

No civil claim was filed within the proceeding, and there were no procedural costs.<\/p>\n

As a result, Vadym K.<\/strong> was found guilty and fined 50 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens<\/strong>, which amounts to 850 hryvnias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

No preventive measure was chosen for the defendant. The court ordered that the discs with the case materials remain in the criminal proceeding.<\/p>\n

Thus, the punishment for at least 4 blows<\/strong> with fists to the woman’s head and face was a fine of 850 hryvnias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
