Ukraine<\/strong> is set to receive from the United States<\/strong> a new package of military aid<\/strong> in the coming days. Separate agreements were also reached with European partners on additional interceptor missiles PAC-3 for Patriot systems<\/strong>. President Volodymyr Zelensky<\/strong> told reporters this after the NATO summit<\/strong>, which took place July 7-8, 2026 in Ankara.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“I believe this was a productive summit for Ukraine. In the coming days we will receive a package from the United States of America, and there were also separate agreements between me and the Europeans. There are no dates yet, but there will be additional PAC-3<\/strong>“, – said Zelensky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to the president, one package of missiles is not enough to cover the needs of Ukraine’s air defence, so negotiations with partners on additional deliveries continue. Zelensky<\/strong> also said that the issue of Patriot production in Ukraine has been politically agreed<\/strong> with U.S. President Donald Trump<\/strong>. The next stage should be work by government officials and technical teams on licences, technologies and the practical launch of production.<\/p>\n

During a meeting with Zelensky<\/strong> on the sidelines of the NATO summit on July 8 Trump<\/strong> publicly stated his readiness to grant Ukraine<\/strong> the relevant license.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“We will show them how to do it. In fact it is very complicated, but you will quickly figure out this complexity… We will give you a licence to produce the Patriot”, – said the U.S. president<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

At the same time, a political agreement does not yet mean an immediate start of production. Ukraine<\/strong> and the United States<\/strong> need to agree on technical conditions, access to technologies, supply of components, location of facilities and the project timeline.<\/p>\n
