The tragedy occurred <strong data-start=\"236\" data-end=\"259\">on June 30, 2026<\/strong> near the village of <strong data-start=\"273\" data-end=\"309\">Starytskivka in Poltava district<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"312\" data-end=\"700\">On board were <strong data-start=\"332\" data-end=\"356\">4 servicemen<\/strong> of the helicopter squadron of the <strong data-start=\"380\" data-end=\"431\">16th Separate Army Aviation Brigade &#8220;Brody&#8221;<\/strong>. All crew members were killed. The Brody City Council reported the loss, and the location of the mission was clarified by the Poltava publication &#8220;ZMIST&#8221;. What exactly happened to the helicopter during the interception of enemy drones has not been officially disclosed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"702\" data-end=\"740\">Made their last combat flight:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"742\" data-end=\"948\">\n<li data-section-id=\"u2dbvr\" data-start=\"742\" data-end=\"785\">crew commander, Captain <strong data-start=\"770\" data-end=\"784\">Yurii Voron<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"h99zwd\" data-start=\"786\" data-end=\"833\">pilot-navigator, Major <strong data-start=\"811\" data-end=\"832\">Valentyn Mukshynov<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"fida3t\" data-start=\"834\" data-end=\"888\">flight technician, Senior Lieutenant <strong data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"887\">Bohdan Khmil<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"fida3t\" data-start=\"834\" data-end=\"888\">air gunner, Junior Sergeant <strong data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"947\">Mykhailo Deryaga<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"3895\" data-end=\"4049\">The Brody City Council emphasized that the four aviators remained faithful to their military oath until the end and were performing tasks to defend Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4273\" data-end=\"4599\">The farewell for <strong data-start=\"4284\" data-end=\"4301\">Yurii Voron<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"4303\" data-end=\"4328\">Valentyn Mukshynov<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"4330\" data-end=\"4349\">Bohdan Khmil<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"4352\" data-end=\"4372\">Mykhailo Deryaga<\/strong> will take place <strong data-start=\"4385\" data-end=\"4406\">on July 7, 2026<\/strong> in <strong data-start=\"4409\" data-end=\"4419\">Brody<\/strong>.
