The rail buckling was recorded on Wednesday, <strong>1 July 2026<\/strong>. The incident was reported by the municipal enterprise&nbsp;&#8220;Mykolaivelektrotrans&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The enterprise explained that during extreme heat metal heats up and expands. As a result, local distortions can occur on tram tracks. The municipal enterprise called such deformation a natural phenomenon under conditions of abnormally high temperature.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">After the problem was detected, track service workers promptly arrived on site. Specialists carried out the necessary repair work and quickly removed the rail distortions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The enterprise did not specify exactly where in <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong> the tram track deformed. The report also contains no information about a prolonged suspension of tram traffic or changes to route operations.<\/p>\n<p>At the municipal enterprise&nbsp;&#8220;Mykolaivelektrotrans&#8221; they assured that during hot weather the condition of the rails and other tram infrastructure is under enhanced control.
