At the city council session on 30 June<\/strong>, Mykolaiv deputies approved granting a benefit to the company \u201cNibulon\u201d \u2014 the enterprise was exempted from paying land tax until the end of 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The initiative to bring the issue up for consideration was supported after an appeal from deputy and head of the Central District administration, Oleksandr Bereza, who had previously reviewed the financial calculations of the relevant department and urged taking into account the company’s contribution to the city’s development.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn 2025<\/strong> Nibulon paid 88<\/strong> million to the city budget. Of that, 18<\/strong> million was land tax, and 69<\/strong> million was personal income tax. The company’s proposal today is that they are asking us for a land tax relief, but they propose to employ their workers from other branches in the newly created city of Mykolaiv<\/strong>. And thus, according to forecasts, in 2026<\/strong> the city budget will receive 20<\/strong> million hryvnias from personal income tax. And will lose 18<\/strong> million. The city budget remains in surplus, plus the planned revenues that the enterprise brings to the budget,\u201d said Oleksandr Bereza.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe representatives there have changed, he wants to speak on behalf of the enterprise. There were also letters from the company \u2018Nibulon\u2019 with calculations, you can look at the figures, they are even larger than those cited by Bereza,\u201d said Dmytro Falko.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

After this, deputies agreed to include the issue in the agenda and moved on to consider the draft resolution.<\/p>\n

Before the vote, Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych clarified that the relief concerns a water area that Nibulon is currently not actually using, and that the land tax exemption will be valid only until the end of 2026<\/strong>, after which the matter will be brought again for consideration by the council.<\/p>\n

The decision was supported by the minimally required majority: 28<\/strong> deputies voted \u201cfor\u201d, and another 4<\/strong> abstained.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that \u201cNibulon\u201d is considering leaving Mykolaiv<\/strong>: Kim urged deputies to \u201cswallow their pride\u201d for the sake of 100<\/strong> million for the city.<\/p>\n
