In Mykolaiv<\/strong> during the session on June 30<\/strong> deputies approved a package of 160<\/strong> land issues in a single vote, and Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych<\/strong> declared a conflict of interest and abstained from participating in the decision.<\/p>\n

Before proceeding to the vote, at the session of the Mykolaiv<\/strong> City Council all land projects were combined into a single package and put forward for consideration as one agenda item.<\/p>\n

The mayor said he would not take part in the vote due to the presence in the package of an item on allocating a land plot for a shopping center to a person from whom his family rents housing.<\/p>\n

“So that there would be no questions later,” explained Oleksandr Senkevych<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

After this statement the mayor declined to vote on the package of land decisions.<\/p>\n

As a result, the package of 160<\/strong> land decisions was supported by 33<\/strong> deputies.<\/p>\n
