On Ukraine’s Constitution Day, 28 June 2026<\/strong>, Ukrainian forces struck two oil refineries on the territory of the aggressor state. One facility is located approximately 300 kilometers<\/strong> from the front line, the other about 700 kilometers<\/strong> from the Ukrainian border.<\/p>\n

The results of the night’s combat operations were reported<\/a> by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky<\/strong>, on his official Telegram channel.<\/p>\n

According to the head of state, the refinery “Slovyansky”, located in the Krasnodar region<\/strong> of Russia, was hit. The distance from the plant to the front line is about 300 kilometers<\/strong>. Another target was an oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region<\/strong>. This facility is located approximately 700 kilometers<\/strong> from the state border of Ukraine. The President did not specify which strike means the Ukrainian forces used or what damage the Russian enterprises sustained.<\/p>\n

Volodymyr Zelensky<\/strong> emphasized that Ukrainian long-range operations are aimed at reducing the resources that Russia uses to continue the war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

“On Constitution Day our forces began very accurately. Tonight our long-range sanctions reached two oil refineries in Russia. The Slovyansky refinery in the Krasnodar region was hit \u2013 that is about 300 kilometers<\/strong> from the front line. We also hit a refinery in the Yaroslavl region, which is approximately 700 kilometers<\/strong> from our border. We continue our operations that weaken Russia’s ability to wage this war. Each of our long-range sanctions is a reduction of the resources that work for the Russian war machine, and another step toward peace. We will continue to respond to Russian terror.
