At the end of June and the beginning of July, a significant temperature rise is expected in Ukraine. In some regions, thermometers may climb to +36\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

This was reported by the forecaster of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, Ivan Semilit, in a comment to NV<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to him, in the coming days an atmospheric front will move across the country, bringing short summer showers and thunderstorms.<\/p>\n

On June 23, precipitation is forecast for almost all of Ukraine, except for the northern and north-eastern oblasts. Hail and wind gusts of 15\u201320 meters per second are possible in places. The most precipitation is expected in Zakarpattia and Prykarpattia.<\/p>\n

On June 24, short showers are possible in the southern oblasts; on June 25 \u2014 mainly on the Left Bank; and on June 26 \u2014 across almost the entire country, except the western regions. On June 27, precipitation will shift to the east and southeast.<\/p>\n

At the end of the week, a region of higher atmospheric pressure will begin to arrive in Ukraine from the west. Along with it, warm air from Western and Central Europe will spread.<\/p>\n

From June 28 to July 2 daytime temperatures across the country will be +26\u2026+33\u00b0C. In Zakarpattia, the air will locally warm up to +36\u00b0C. At night, +15\u2026+22\u00b0C is expected.<\/p>\n

In Kyiv and the region, dry weather will prevail during the week. A short rain with thunderstorms is possible during the day on June 26. According to forecasts, on June 30 the temperature in the capital region may also rise to +36\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

The forecaster explained that a powerful slow-moving anticyclone is holding over Europe, which accumulates warm air and gradually spreads it over Ukraine.<\/p>\n
