He gave his life for the freedom and independence of Ukraine, for each of us. His sacrifice \u2014 pain, pride and eternal memory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Valentyn Kovshov<\/strong> was born on <strong>2 May 1974<\/strong> and died on <strong>15 June 2026<\/strong> on the Kherson front. He was an exceptionally good, kind and loving person, a caring father and son, a beloved husband who always supported, loved and helped everyone around him, &#8211; say friends and the fallen hero\u2019s wife, Lyubov Kovshova.<\/p>\n<p>At one time Valentyn worked at the Sandora company and also at Nibulon, where colleagues sincerely respected and honored him for his constant support and reliability. In the years before the war he worked at LLC \u201cYUGEKOTOP\u201d. <strong>In 2025 Valentyn voluntarily, following the call of his heart, went to defend Ukraine by joining the border guard forces<\/strong> \u2014 specifically the 79th Border Detachment. There he served faithfully until his last day, bravely fulfilling his military duty and giving his life for the freedom of Ukraine during an enemy artillery strike.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The funeral cortege<\/strong> will set off on Tuesday, <strong>23 June<\/strong>, from the Regional Bureau of Forensic Examinations at 138 Mark Kropyvnytskyi Street at <strong>10:45<\/strong>, will pass along <strong>Central<\/strong> Avenue and <strong>Bohoyavlenskyi<\/strong> Avenue to the &#8220;Zhukivske&#8221; roundabout in the Korablevnyi district, and then <strong>via the bypass road<\/strong> will head to the family home on <strong>Kakhovska<\/strong> Street.<\/p>\n<p>After that the cortege will travel along <strong>Olshantsi<\/strong> Street and Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue, return to the <strong>church in Balabanivka<\/strong>, where a memorial service will begin at <strong>12:00<\/strong>, followed by burial at the Alley of Glory of the Balabanivka Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>The family and friends of the fallen <strong>Valentyn Kovshov<\/strong> appeal to all residents of Mykolaiv:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\">\n<p>\ud83d\ude4f <strong>We urge everyone to form a living corridor of honor<\/strong>.
