NATO said that Russia continues to try to achieve its goals in the war against Ukraine despite more than 1.4 million<\/strong> personnel losses, and combat remains intense along the entire front line.<\/p>\n

As European Pravda<\/a> writes, citing a senior alliance official, despite a noticeable deterioration in Russia’s economic situation, the country’s leadership position on continuing the aggression has not changed, and the Kremlin’s intentions remain unchanged.<\/p>\n

“We see no signs of any significant changes in the pace of combat operations or preparation for a major Russian offensive in the near future due to the decline in the effectiveness of Russian forces,” the senior NATO official said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The alliance emphasizes that the initiative on the battlefield largely remains with Russian forces, however their results have become significantly less stable and consistent than before.<\/p>\n

According to NATO estimates, Russia’s total losses since the start of the full-scale invasion range from 1.3<\/strong> to 1.45 million<\/strong> military personnel, of which about 500,000<\/strong> are killed.<\/p>\n

Despite these figures, Russian units maintain a high tempo of offensive actions along the entire line of contact, primarily on the Pokrovsk direction<\/strong>, attempting to advance toward Dobropillia<\/strong> and to establish control over Kostiantynivka<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“Urban fighting will continue in the central part of the city in the near future, and Ukraine’s ability to conduct resupply is being seriously undermined by the use of drones,” the NATO representative added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

On the Zaporizhzhia direction<\/strong> the advance of Russian forces remains minimal, alliance reports note.<\/p>\n
